Hello, my name is Gus Lauer.  I have been practicing yoga since 2011.  I received my 200 Hour teaching certificate in 2015 and have been teaching since 2016 in the Memphis, TN area.  I have recently relocated to SWFL.


As a result of some spinal issues due to running, I had to find an alternative form of exercise.  Yoga provided the needed all body stretching, and most importantly, the accompanying breathing.  In all my practices and teachings, I emphasize the need to use one’s breath in conjunction with the body's movements.


For me the practice and discipline of yoga provides the opportunity for a “moving meditation."
